Registration
is open for Linda's all-new,
two-day summer seminar, and we are already expecting guests
from Michigan, New York, Illinois, New Mexico and California.
You can

or check. This is also a good time to remind everyone that the Alta Mira Hotel is holding our block of
discounted rooms until April 3, so be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible if you need them.

Saturday, June 24
A Design Adventure in the Valley of the
Moon
Morning
Meet at the Alta Mira Hotel in Sausalito for the ride to
Sonoma to visit antiques shops on the way to the spectacular Wine Country estate, which has been published nationally and
internationally.
Lunch
Arrive in
Glen Ellen for a private tour of the
Mediterranean-style villa Linda designed from
the floor up. A fabulous Italian lunch including wine will be
served, and you'll meet the owners of the property, Marilyn and
Bob
Smith.
Afternoon
Visit a very unusual architectural salvage shop, and enjoy a fantastic food and wine pairing
at a beautiful hilltop winery, returning to the Alta Mira by about 7:00. |
Sunday, June 25
Design
Among the Vines Seminar
The
Wine Country estate will be the subject of a full-day presentation
of photographs and
design knowledge by Linda Applewhite at the Alta Mira Hotel
in Sausalito, including buffet lunch and afternoon cocktails
overlooking the
San Francisco Bay.

An Interview with Linda on
XM Satellite (HGTV on the Radio)
Linda's
interview with Nancy
Glass will repeat on Thursday, March 2 at 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
ET (see XM's website for details). The one-hour HGTV show is
on XM's Take 5 Channel 155.
In the interview, Linda talks
about the book she's writing about transforming space through
embellishing architecture. The book will be published in early 2007 by
Gibbs-Smith. |
Sunshine floods the dining room of the Wine Country estate
that will be the subject of Linda's
seminar in June. The room served
