For years, Linda Applewhite has been creating exquisite pillows for her clients' homes. Now, Linda is designing and, with artist Laurie Soldmann, making a limited number of unique pillows exclusively for purchase at Linda's design seminars and in our online store. These elegant creations range from whimsical to traditional to exotic. Each is hand made of the highest quality fabrics and trims from the U.S. and Europe, with meticulous attention to detail. Linda calls them her "Over-the-Top" line, not only because they are her most intricate designs yet - each one comprising layer upon layer of her favorite fabrics and trims - but also because she uses pillows to give the final bit of panache to her rooms by placing them "over the top" of the rest of the decor. Since our "Design in the Desert" seminar in September, where most of the pillows sold out, Linda and Laurie have been busy adding new pillows to the line, and they are now available in our online store.        Attention to Detail Every "Over the Top" pillow was designed by Linda personally, exactly as she designs them for her clients. She hand selects the finest fabrics and trims, then works with pillow artist Laurie Soldmann to create ruffled flanges, pleated ribbon edges, contrasting borders and layered center medallions in combinations coordinated to pull together the colors and textures in your rooms. The line was specifically designed to work together in many combinations, a few of which you can see in the photos below. They can be ordered individually, in multiples of the same design, or in any combination. If you would like to see fabric samples before purchasing, call us at 415 331 2040. Trims may vary slightly. Each pillow is a piece of art, with impeccable workmanship far superior to anything you will find in a retail store at any price. All have removable zippered covers and are expertly stuffed with fluffy 10/90 down inserts. We recommend dry cleaning of pillow covers.
